Adam’s beginnings with Thomas Hardie originate within our PDI bay. Preparing and repairing vehicles in readiness for sale. Adams’s reliability and friendly personality didn’t go un-noticed. Look ahead a year and you’ll find Adam becoming our PDI Team Leader.
Displaying professionalism and confidence throughout his time as PDI supervisor, Adam later had the opportunity to master our eBay site and utilize its methods to aid the company further, and the rest you could say is history!
Adam has a brilliant understanding of the business and what is necessary to provide an excellent service for our customers. Now supporting a large customer base, consisting of reliable and satisfied buyers from around the globe.

Role – Economy Used Trucks Sales Executive
How long have you worked at THUVS? – 6 years
Brief description of your roll –
I sell trucks that are at the higher mileage end of the spectrum or otherwise fall into our Economy offer. I also sell used & new part ex trucks that return off customers.
Lastly, I export trucks to all corners of the globe. From the Congo, Zambia, Greece, Wales, London, and Wigan.
What do you enjoy most about working at THUVS? –
I enjoy the camaraderie and how much of a close-knit group we are. We all can have a laugh and joke together, but when a job needs doing, the team bands together to get the work done. Representing Thomas Hardie’s in a role that is relatively new to the group is brilliant and unlocks the opportunity for me to dial in my skills and provide a professional service for our customers.
Why should someone use THUVS as their used truck supplier? –
I believe we are the best at what we do and pride ourselves on giving the customer the best product money can buy. We offer a personal but professional service; we aim to support our customers throughout the buying experience. Not being passed from face to face or being baffled with salesman techniques. Just straight-talking discussion with the end goal for both parties being an excellent truck leaving our gates, ready for work.
Describe THUVS in three words –
Where do you see THUVS in the near future? –
A bigger premises/ showroom to showcase our market-leading stock. Displaying our vehicles is vital. Visiting our site needs to be an enjoyable occasion and I believe, in the future, we will utilize a dedicated ‘showroom’ that would enhance our buying experience further.
What three items would you need on a desert island –
A good read
Tell us one thing people might not know about you –
People may not know that I am a keen gardener! There’s nothing I enjoy more than a well-kept lawn.
