Thomas Hardie Used Trucks Are Once Again Crowned Used Truck Sales Team of the Year – 2018!
Thomas Hardie Used Trucks have ‘once again’ proven to their competitors that they’re a force to be reckoned with, by achieving the coveted Used Truck Dealer of the Year award for the third consecutive year at Volvo’s annual Dealer Kick Off Event.
The annual awards ceremony is one of the most prestigious of Volvo’s award ceremonies in the Dealer Network, showcasing and recognising the very ‘best’.
The illustrious award came in the Used Truck Sales category after the judges recognized Thomas Hardie Used Trucks for their impressive sales figures, demonstrating strong and continuous growth. The judges also noted that they looked for evidence of bespoke customer engagement; innovative sales programmes and genuine teamwork, along with their ingenious use of social media.
This award is testament to their hard work and continued dedication. Our Used Trucks Sales Team are specialists in what they do, and their most recent success is further affirmation of this. It also demonstrates their impeccable performance in a number of key business areas.
Chris Schofield, Director of Used Truck Sales commented, “2018 was an exceptional year for our Used Vehicle Sales Department which resulted in us finding new homes for approx. 420 vehicles by year end. We can only achieve this level of success with the assistance of our incredibly loyal customer base and our award-winning after sales team.”

In addition, Thomas Hardie Commercials were also awarded the renowned ‘Dealer of the Year Award for 2018′ following consistently outstanding performance.
In particular, Thomas Hardie Commercials’ employees ensured our five dealerpoints were the highest performing dealer in the network in delivering customer satisfaction, as measured by feedback from Volvo customers in the Volvo Trucks Retail Excellence Survey.
Dealer of the Year Award 2018 judging criteria, included how Thomas Hardie Commercials performed in terms of the following business and commercial areas: Service Excellence measures, Volvo Action Service (VAS) measures on breakdowns, MOT first-time pass rate, Depot quarterly audits, New and Used Truck Sales, Volvo Financial Services (VFS) Sales, contract penetration and Aftermarket performance.
Trafford Park Depot also walked away with the award for Volvo Action Service Dealer of the Year 2018. Furthermore, we took home the Long Haul Sector Award and our Middlewich Depot came an impressive 3rd place in The Blue League for Dealer Excellence Award category.
